Lustre Paper
Lustre is my default paper that features a fine grain pebble texture and has fingerprint resistant qualities. The paper supports clean whites, rich/dark blacks, and vibrant colors with strong levels of detail. Lustre prints will need to be matted and framed after purchase, but is a classic economic choice.
Fine Art Paper
If you're looking for a paper print that will last for generations, purchasing a Fine Art print is the way to go. My Fine Art Prints are printed on Epson Hot Press Bright White paper. Made from 100% cotton rag, this acid-free paper has a beautiful smooth matte finish and features stunning detail. The heavy weight of 330 gsm, thickness of 17 mil, and opacity of 98% gives this paper the look and feel of a true fine art paper. In my opinion, this paper is almost always worth the additional cost compared to Lustre and you can't go wrong by purchasing it. Fine Art prints will require matting and framing after purchase. If you're interested in purchasing one of my panoramic images on this paper, please reach out to me directly via
email or on
Instagram to discuss options.
Metal Prints
Metal Prints are a relatively new art medium that works by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. They are somewhat glossy and have excellent vibrancy and luminescence. They also do a great job of showing fine detail. Although Metal Prints are more expensive than Lustre, they come ready to hang so total cost usually ends up being about the same as a Lustre Print + Frame.
Canvas Prints
Canvas Prints are a contemporary way to display my images, with or without a Frame. A print is first made on Professional Photo Paper, which is bonded onto museum quality canvas. The print is then wrapped around a stretcher frame and finished with hanging hardware.
Print Lab:
All of my prints are from
Bay Photo, a professional lab located in Santa Cruz, California, that has been catering to professional photographers since 1976.
As a true Pro lab, Bay Photo includes hand color-correction of each print. The expert staff at Bay Photo fuss over each order, ensuing superb color and consistency from print to print.
Bay Photo offers
Photo Extras, like mats, frames, mountings, and more for many print sizes, which can help save you a trip to the framers. When you've added a photo to the cart, click on "Finishing Options" to see the available options for the print you've selected.
Most prints are carefully flat-packed - damage during shipment is almost unheard of. Any paper print with a side 60" and over will ship in a tube. Metal prints over 30" x 45" are shipped in crates.
Shipping Options:
Bay Photo has several shipping options available for you. These range from "I can wait a few days" to "I need it ASAP." Shipping pricing depends on what print medium you're buying, how big the print is, and the location you're shipping to.
When you add your items to the shopping cart and after you've entered your address, the shopping cart will accurately quote you the shipping costs right down to the cent. You aren't charged anything until you click the "Place Order" button at the end of the Shopping Cart.
